CODE OF CONDUCT
1 – Introduction
This document defines, at the present state, the company policy regarding the aspects of the integrated management system of Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l. (quality, environment, and workplace safety).
The document is drafted by the Management and aims to define the general guidelines for the execution of business activities concerning:
Control of invasive vegetation with chemical and mechanical means and fire retardant treatment. Prevention and fight against forest fires. Provision of cleaning, sanitation, disinfestation, and rodent control services. Services for the collection, transport, and disposal of urban plant waste from green areas. Training activities and UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) school, surveying services, including rental and sale.
The document:
· Adopts the requirements and principles of the reference standards applied in the company;
· Complies with the procedures of the quality systems in force in the company;
· Is disseminated to company employees to ensure adherence and awareness of the contents;
· Is periodically reviewed based on management results, regulatory requirements, customer interest, and interested parties.
The indications of the company policy find execution through what is defined in the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001:2015, Environment ISO 14001:2015, and safety ISO 45001:2018.
The main objectives of this document are:
· Compliance with the mandatory requirements contained in the applicable legislative and technical standards;
· Effective and efficient management of business processes;
· Continuous improvement;
· Continuous customer and stakeholder satisfaction;
· Development of performance improvement strategies and actions;
· Reduction of environmental impact;
· Protection and safeguarding of the environment;
· Personnel safety in the workplace and improvement of applied systems;
· Guaranteeing the availability of all information, resources necessary to achieve the objectives and general goals;
2 – Significant elements and business policy decisions
The Management of Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l. intends to ensure complete satisfaction of customer needs through the compliance of the services provided in terms of quality, reliability, punctuality, and dynamism. It intends to always operate according to safety criteria and in full compliance with current regulations.
The Management is convinced of the need to address the issues of quality, environment, and safety in a comprehensive and efficient manner, aimed at ensuring operational effectiveness.
All personnel are called upon to commit themselves to achieve the continuous and systematic improvement of business systems in order to improve the service with the objective of achieving maximum customer satisfaction, prioritizing prevention and maintenance of the territory rather than recovery intervention.
Each business activity must meet the following general objectives:
- Always provide services that fully satisfy the expressed or implied needs of the customer, trying to use the best available technologies on the market and raising awareness, through personnel training, of internal resources to achieve ever-increasing quality standards.
- Make known and use integrated green maintenance and management systems in railway and civil areas, in order to ensure a safety standard for railway circulation and railway personnel. Allow public green areas to be used by people and animals in full safety and in a healthy environment without pests and/or pathogens. Optimize and use new molecules for invasive vegetation control services in compliance with national regulations and community directives.
- Perform services with technically trained personnel with cutting-edge equipment that respects the environment and operator safety. Continue the professional training of personnel through continuous courses and training stages. Strive to ensure that the customer maintains a trust relationship with Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l.
- Demand the highest level of quality in their work, proposing constant improvements to the customer and committing to perform their services in a way that achieves maximum customer satisfaction. Pay utmost attention to the maintenance of equipment and vehicles used, especially railway ones, keeping them always efficient and compliant with the reference standards.
- Involve internal personnel so that each one recognizes the importance of their role.
- Improve internal efficiency through systematic standardization of activities, professional growth, personal motivation, and through the periodic review of their integrated management system to verify that it is effectively implemented and suitable for achieving the objectives.
- Comply with the mandatory legislation and applicable regulations for the company on quality, environment, and workplace safety topics.
3 – Company objectives
Following what was reported in the previous paragraph, the objectives identified by the Management, which must be achieved with the involvement of all personnel and collaborators, have been established in the management review and summarized briefly below.
3.1 – INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The quality management system implemented years ago is now a consolidated habit. The contribution of the quality management system was significant during the period of greatest production and economic difficulty. The operational procedures have allowed a general organization that, through planning, feedback, and verification of what was planned, has allowed the best optimization of company resources. The quality system has also allowed us to highlight the necessary modifications for a more streamlined but at the same time accurate and productive process; changes that we have implemented by correcting some procedures that have allowed the implementation of a management control system. Since 2008 Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l. has been certified for the Environmental Management System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard and the ISO 45001:2018 safety system as it has always been a commitment of Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l. and the functions operating in the structure to continuously improve environmental performance and workplace safety and health. The commitment of the management is to continue to keep these management systems active and disseminate them to customers, suppliers, and all interested parties.
3.2 – HUMAN RESOURCES AND COMPANY STRUCTURE
Currently, the staff is in line with the future developments of the company. We will continue to enhance human resources within the structure in order to increasingly stimulate personnel at all corporate levels, important for strengthening and developing a sense of cohesion.
3.3 – BUSINESS PERFORMANCE AND STRATEGY
Despite the financial market crisis, our company, with considerable effort, has managed to cope with the situation and maintain constant volumes of company indices.
The consistent behavior towards customers and the high commitment to our work have rewarded Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l., which has seen an increase in customers and, above all, maintained excellent commercial relationships with loyal customers.
Soradis S.I.A. S.r.l.'s commitment is to focus on high-specialization activities for which we have gained experience recognized at all levels. Further commitment is to optimize resources to achieve cost reduction while maintaining high-quality work as a guarantee and important added value.
Therefore, our policy will remain what has always guided us:
